Q: Are the button images I save with Button Shop royalty free?
A: Yes, all images saved by users of Button Shop are royalty free. You can use them wherever you want commercially, on your website, magazines, presentation booklets, computer programs and more. You don't have to show any credit or link that you used Button Shop to create your buttons, although we really appreciate it if you do!
Note: You are not allowed to sell the button images created using Button Shop in any way, or include them in a similar program.
Q: What is the Pulsing effect?
A: Pulsing will make your button glow with a pulsing light. You can use it to make a button stand out, or as a special effect when the user holds the mouse over the button.
Q: Which image formats can I save the buttons to?
A: You can save the buttons into these image formats: BMP, PNG, GIF, JPG, TIF, ICON, EXIF, EMF, WMF. You can save pulsing buttons as GIF Animation and TIF Animation, in addition to the previously mentioned formats.
Q: Does it support transparency when saving buttons?
A: Yes, you can save the buttons with transparency when saving to either GIF or PNG. We strongly recommend saving the button images to the PNG image format, so that both the transparent and translucency (the partially transparent) parts are preserved.
Q: Can I place an icon on top of the button?
A: Yes, you can place all these image formats on top of your button: BMP, PNG, GIF, JPG, TIF, ICON, EXIF, EMF, WMF. You can also set the alignment (positioning) of the icon, and if it should be partially transparent.
Q: Which effects can I use on the buttons?
A: You can append shadow effect on the button, glowing effect, stroke effect, grayscale effect and the Pulsing effect, and customizability on all effects giving you lots of options.
